Wine & Cars Under the Stars to benefit community, spotlight award-winning wines

Engines are revving up again for the second annual Wine & Cars Under the Stars, the unique fundraising event celebrating the award-winning wines and spirits from the prestigious Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition amidst an impressive collection of one-of-a-kind automobiles and hot rods. The memorable evening takes place Saturday, June 14, at the historic Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif.

Besides the debut of the 2008 winners, the evening is also an opportunity to benefit the Millard Sheets Center for the Arts at Fairplex.

Guests are among the first to sample the winning wines, spirits and olive oils from the competition, accompanied by gourmet edibles. Entertainment includes dancing the night away to vintage classics, hob-nobbing with celebrities from the automotive and sports industries, and enjoying a nostalgic “drive-in” movie complete with old-fashioned car bench seats.
